This year’s annual Lincoln Charter fundraising event was a huge success, living up to its reputation once again.

The highlight of the day for many was the highly anticipated grade-level volleyball game, where the juniors came out on top, dominating the competition and beating every other grade.

The energy stayed high during the Track Attack 5K, which saw over 300 enthusiastic participants. In an impressive finish, the first-place runner crossed the line in about 20 minutes, followed closely by the first-place girl at around 21 minutes—both of whom are middle schoolers—adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Alongside the competitive fun, there were plenty of classic favorites that kept the crowd smiling. Kona Ice and ice cream were as popular as ever, offering a refreshing treat for attendees of all ages.

The younger students especially enjoyed the blow-up bouncy houses, turning the event into a full-on festival for the elementary crowd.

On the fundraising front, the high school reached its ambitious $95,000 goal, securing a well-earned half day. However, not everything went without complaints: many students were less than thrilled to learn that, despite the success, there will still be school the day after the Super Bowl.
